I'm a product of CCISD, and I'm passionate about giving back to the schools that mean so much to me.

I attended and graduated from Ward Elementary, Webster Intermediate, and Clear Lake High School. My five younger siblings and I participated in the WAVE program. I went on to graduate from Texas A&M and returned to the area to make home and career as a chemical engineer, later receiving a Master’s degree from Rice University. I’m a member of Clear Lake Baptist Church, an Eagle Scout, and an avid runner.

My engineering background, analytical skills, and conservative Republican values made me an ideal choice to serve on the CCISD Board of Trustees. Since my election in 2019, I have worked to bring more accountability and transparency to Clear Creek ISD. I opposed delays to reopening in-person education, introduced and passed the first ban on critical race theory (CRT) adopted by any district in Texas, and have resisted efforts to lower academic standards.

I also work closely with our legislators to ensure our district’s needs and values are represented in state government. I have been endorsed for re-election by our local Republican State Representatives Dennis Paul, Mayes Middleton, Briscoe Cain, and Cody Vasut.

I care deeply about our schools, the children and parents they serve, and the teachers and staff who make them great. If re-elected, I will continue to use my skills and experience to protect our excellent programs, maintain high standards, and ensure the values of our community continue to be represented on the Board.
